Description

Golden Pothos (Epipremnum aureum) is the plant everyone should start with. Its cascading vines of heart-shaped, green-and-gold marbled leaves look stunning on shelves, in hanging baskets or climbing a moss pole.

It is famously forgiving: it tolerates low light, bounces back quickly from missed waterings and even grows in just a vase of water. Indoors in the UAE it grows year-round, and cuttings root effortlessly — one plant can become many gifts for friends.

• Light: Bright indirect light for the best variegation; tolerates low light.
• Water: When the top 2–3 cm of soil feels dry. Less in winter.
• Humidity: Average room humidity is fine; occasional misting is a bonus.
